GreedFall 2is set three years before the events of the first game, and this time you play as an indigenous person from the island of Teer Fradee, who is captured as a slave and taken to the old continent of Gacane, the land of the colonizers.
Gacane is an ancient, dying world, made up of various nations and ravaged by constant wars and plague, which we must explore for the first time.
This sequel places more emphasis on exploration and features a more tactical combat system, where we control a team of four characters at once, with the ability to switch between them at any time to perform different types of attacks, special abilities, and magic.
In this early access version, we can play through the first chapters of the main mission, explore the regions of Teer Fradee, Thynia, and Uxantis, and meet six characters who can be recruited to our team.
During the early access period, the game will receive several seasonal updates, offering new features like improvements and tweaks, as well as new explorable areas, companions, missions, abilities, a Photo Mode, and more.
In the fall, the first major update will introduce a new companion and their corresponding side quests, an extension of the story, a new region, and two new skill trees. In the winter, the second major update will bring another new companion, the crafting system, new side quests, and a new skill tree with additional powers.
