Defeat Fenrir.

Story trophy, can’t be missed. This battle will go down in a cave and you will have to make use of your focus vision liberally to take the boss down. This wolf boss is a purely close range attacker, slow but powerful. It’s important hear to dodge rather than block as he’s too powerful and blocks will send you to the ground. Follow the formula of dodge, hit, repeat. When the screen darkens use your focus vision and search for the wolf, and be ready to dodge as he will leap out at you from this phase.

Confront Hela.

Story trophy, can’t be missed. This is the final boss of the game, and you will have a new piece of equipment that will be a true boon for this fight. Use your focus vision and initiate some combo attacks. Take out the small adds that accompany the boss, as you can ignore the primary boss and then take out the shadow bosses while using your vision. In the final phase, when the boss is sitting in the middle, you are to let yourself be killed or the enemies will just keep spawning. Upon your death, the final cutscene will play.

Collect all of the Lorestones.

Missable trophy. There are 44 Lorestones that you can collect in this game which are large glowing stones that give additional story when you collect them. Many of them will be easily scattered about and when you come upon one, use your focus vision to trigger them.

The stones feature a tracking feature on them, where the red runes are the ones you have not found and the white ones are the ones you have found. The dots in between signify the sections of the game, which makes it useful to see which areas have how many lorestones. Since these stones can be missed you will want to pay careful attention to these on stone guides to make sure you are accounting for all of the ones in this area before moving on.

If you die or exit the game you have to trigger the stones again, your progress only saves at checkpoints. This trophy is going to require the utmost care and will make what should be an easy platinum a bit of a challenge. If you do miss any of the stones, your progress does carry over, so you can beat the game and begin a new one to continue your hunt. Stay tuned for a list of each and its location.

Emergence

Editor at Fextralife. I look for the substantial in gaming and I try to connect video games to the emotions and stories they elicit. I love all things culture and history and have an odd fondness for the planet Jupiter. I think my dogs are pretty awesome too.

Been playing this one, it’s pretty okay so far. Up to the point I’m at (just beat Surtr) the gameplay has only been “look for things that resemble runes” and “kill these pyramid head guys”, but the graphics are gorgeous and the idea of using the voices she hears as narrators and hints is flat-out hilarious. Even funnier is the way I went from “oh my god shut up” to “tell me your secrets, voices” in less than an hour.
