Hogwarts Legacy Gets Common Tour Plus Playstation Exclusive Quest

New footage released this week gives a tour of the common rooms in Hogwarts Legacy plus platform exclusive quest confirmed for Playstation.

Hogwarts Legacygave us a tour of each of the common rooms in the upcoming RPG as part of the Back to Hogwarts series. Introducing the student houses Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin’s common rooms. The videos are roughly a minute each, showing off the rooms and their magical entranceways.

The rooms are highly detailed from tapestries to ornate decorations, representing each of the Hogwarts houses. It shows a student strolling around the areas of the common room, and students going about their daily student lives in the magical school. The level of detail is quite amazing and hopefully gets you a little bit more amped up for the game’s release next year.

There was also a featurette that shared more about the game, showing off other areas of the castle, not just the common rooms. Mentioned are the castle ruins which will be part of a side quest.

Those who are deciding which platform to play Hogwarts Legacy on may be interested to know that the Playstation Editions of Hogwarts Legacy (Standard, Deluxe, Digital Deluxe, and Collector’s Editions) will “come with an exclusive quest”.Pre-orderswill gain the Felix Felicis Potion Recipe. This was confirmed in a twitter thread on the official Hogwarts Legacy account.

All PlayStation editions will come with the Exclusive Quest; no Pre-Order is required to obtain it. More information around Sony exclusives is coming soon. (4/8)

Also another interesting feature teased is that players can link their WB Games account with their Harry Potter Fan Club account to import their house, wand and more to the game. Players can also receive a Beaked Skull Mask as a bonus.

What do you think about platform-exclusive quests? At the moment it looks like Sony only has this bonus but I wonder if other platforms will gain something similar. While I don’t think bonus items or cosmetics are bad platform exclusives, quests depending on the importance seem like a strange choice.
