Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.2 Launches on May 8th

HoYoversehas announced that version 2.2 ofHonkai: Star Rail, titled“Then Wake to Weep”will be available on May 8th. With it, the adventure of Colonipenal comes to an end, and two playable characters enter the game: the singerRobin and Boothill, an expert in one-on-one duels.

In version 2.2, players will encounter a special guest: The Grand Septimus, Harmonious Choir, who is preparing to showcase their skills at the Carismonia Festival. At that time, the Wayfarer will appear with their new companion, a fantastic and stylish hat, and together they will unveil the various mysteries of this planet of celebrations and write the perfect ending to Colonipenal’s adventure.

Players will explore the mysterious Dreamflow Reef, an area that emanates a unique atmosphere with certain ways to enter. As the Carismonia Festival approaches, auditions begin where challenges must be faced together and compete for the title of festival superstar.

With the audition, players can enter the Grand Theater of Colonipenal, the venue for the five-star character Robin’s show, a famous singer throughout the cosmos who integrates her songs into battles.

When entering Concert mode, all team allies except Robin act immediately and also receive combat bonuses. Each time a team ally attacks the enemy, Robin will cause additional damage to the enemy. Additionally, Robin also has the ability of immunity to negative Control states.

Boothill, the Galaxy Sentinel, will also join your gaming table to assist you in your wayfarer expedition. He is a cybernetic cowboy who roams the cosmos and engages in individual duels with the enemy in combat, applying Provocation.

Similar to a duel in a classic old movie, the damage received by both parties in the duel will also increase. Additionally, each time an ally destroys a duel target or breaks its Weakness, Boothill receives a stacking empowerment effect. When he unleashes his ultimate ability, he adds a Physical Weakness to the designated enemy.
