And so I return to my original statement, FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!!!
And I just started an account too
What they said makes little to no sense. On one hand it’s understandable that HB may want more resources and IGN can provide them with very heavy front-end advertisement. But obviously IGN isn’t gonna do this out of the goodness of their heart, so they will expect to recoup their investment.
It may continue running as it is for a while, but I think eventually, like all things, it will change / adapt to match market forces and meet whatever expectations were set forth.
What surprises me is that they say they’re not going to do anything different, and are just giving Humble bundle money to support them. By the sound of it, it doesn’t seem like Humble Bundle was doing poorly, but that they wanted more money and resources, which kind of sounds shady to me given they went to IGN.
I don’t get it. Is the article implying Humbling Bundle is losing money? If that’s the case, then why would IGN buy them, but not change anything?
This is weird.
I’m not sure what to make of this… seems kinda strange!
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!!!
