Kingdom Come: Deliverance Releases New Video Update On The Game’s Rich Cutscenes

Warhorse Studios has released a new video forKingdom Come: Deliverancethat takes a closer look at the production that has gone into the game’s cutscenes. Check it out

With their in-house Motion Capture Studio, they produced more than 240 minutes of full performance captured cutscenes for the realism based RPG set in real historical events in the Kingdom of Bohemia. In addition to Brian Blessed and Tom McKay, over 50 actors from Czech Republic, Great Britain, and the USA were involved.

The game is taking realism to another level, and is being developed to give players the most immersive of experiences. How you handle aquest, the decisions you make, the quality and nature ofarmorandweapons, all of it is designed to reflect real world conditions giving you freedom as well as a whole new set of circumstances to manage. This immersion into real historical events is complimented by the game’s cutscenes and rich voice acting.

Kingdom Come Deliverance is in internal beta development and is scheduled to release sometime later this year. Keep checking back with us for more!

Editor at Fextralife. I look for the substantial in gaming and I try to connect video games to the emotions and stories they elicit. I love all things culture and history and have an odd fondness for the planet Jupiter. I think my dogs are pretty awesome too.

lol if only there was enough $ to pay people to leave me alone. Also their labor of love is apparent. They’re a BLAST to hang out with. They love the game that they are working on and don’t care about the risks or challenges inherent in realism.

If I don’t have time, I’ll MAKE time. I’ll pay people off to leave me alone until I’m sated.

Now this looks interesting. This might become the new witcher 3, hopefully I’ll have time to play this one…

Have I mentioned Ilovethe way these guys are approaching game development? Because I do. Great way to inspire confidence from the target audience.

Kind of unrelated, but I just had a strange thought. Do video game developers ever hire professional mimes for motion capture? That seems like it’d be a good idea.
