Kingdom Come Deliverance’s Limited Edition Comes With a Sword. Yes a Sword.
Special editions for games are all the rave right now and typically they come with a figurine or mantel collectible to collect display and collect dust. How many give you a sword? Warhorse Studios has you covered with the PC Limited Edition of their upcomingKingdom Come Deliverance, a realistic RPG based on actual historical events during the Kingdom of Bohemia. The edition is available for only 2 days until January 29th via theirwebsitefor obvious reasons. Check out their blacksmithing video showing the sword’s creation in action:
In addition to the sword the edition features the following:
The edition runs for 499.99 USD so it isn’t cheap but if you’re in the market for steel and a collectible you can use against people who mock you for collecting things, then you’re in luck!

Editor at Fextralife. I look for the substantial in gaming and I try to connect video games to the emotions and stories they elicit. I love all things culture and history and have an odd fondness for the planet Jupiter. I think my dogs are pretty awesome too.
More casual, I keep a few knives, daggers, swords, sword staff, and hand made (by me) wooden swords, canes, and clubs. Also have a pickaxe.
Oh, wow. That’s an actual, real sword. My grandpa took up historical smithing as a serious business (and to make/sell stuff at ren fairs), and their video looks like the same stuff he’s doing. The other stuff in the limited edition seems pretty solid overall, not like DaS3’s terrible trash heap of a collector’s edition.
I’d seriously consider paying for this if I wasn’t short on cash until next month.
edit: The article describes it as a “True Henry’s short sword”.Here’s a Q&A thread in their forum.
I would love to get that…but oh man, the spouse agro shivers
Sounds cool BUT no way I would pay 600 dollars. Only time I’ve spent that much on an item was for that Yhorm the Giant statue. I was tempted by those two other statues from f4f but my wallet couldn’t handle that. XD
What’s your collection like? Do you use them for display or something different?
Would be a nice addition to my collection, buuuuuut I get the feeling it’s more for looks than practicality.
