Kingmakers Has Released a New Trailer

Kingmakersis an upcoming action-strategy sandbox game developed byRedemption Road Gamesand published bytinyBuild. It has a new trailer, showcasing this medieval warfare sandbox with firearms, and the footage highlights the incredible destruction physics in this highly anticipated game forSteam.

There are many games usingUnreal Engine, butKingmakers, announced just three months ago forSteam, went viral immediately due to its spectacular technical aspect, as well as its wild concept. It’s a medieval war game with battles featuring thousands of characters in real-time, in destructible environments… but with firearms.

Guess what? You’ve got a tank now. ??https://t.co/icaYNsG0E5

In the firsttinyBuildShowcase, its creators,Redemption Road Games, released a new trailer demonstrating Kingmakers’ destruction engine, and it looks absolutely amazing.

You can destroy everything from small cabins to a huge castle, whether with firearms, explosions, or tanks. You can demolish everything in your path with real-time dynamic physics.

The game features a real-time simulation system with thousands of soldiers, a breakthrough in next-generation AI that makes decisions for each unit, along with a procedural animation system to make everything seem chaotic yet natural.

The premise is that we are time travelers who can journey 500 years back to medieval England, as it’s the only way to stop a war that will ultimately be fatal for all humanity. This premise is simply an excuse for the high concept of “medieval + guns,” and it works not only because it’s crazy but also because it seems to be very well executed.

Certainly, theseKingmakerstrailers have whetted our appetite, and we’re eager to know more details about its release. It will be playable in cooperative mode (apparently, it doesn’t have PvP) in this mix of action and strategy.

Shooting an automatic weapon from a motorcycle across a battlefield seems very exciting… and driving a tank through cabins, watching each log and stone fly individually… is an immediate satisfaction that only video games can offer.
