Lies of P Combat Gameplay Trailer Features 8K Resolution
Upcoming Lies of P gets a new gameplay trailer in stunning 8K resolution.
The Pinnochio-basedAction-RPGLies of P has gotten a new gameplay trailer, showing off the combat in a crisp 8K resolution. The video demonstrates the game running on AMD’s latest graphics card Radeon RX 7900 XT. The footage shows off some of the souls-like combat as P faces off against different enemies. The trailer spotlights the 8K resolution (the option should be available to you if your browser/computer supports 8K) and how the game handles it.
Armed with a sword, P smoothly whips around, slashing the city’s mechanical puppets and parrying their moves. We also see the character make his way to a boss area, where a mechanical monstrosity awaits. The player makes a false move and is grabbed by its arm, then tossed around like a rag doll. Surprisingly, P still has enough health after being smashed into the ground, to get back up and dodge more of this electrical nightmare’s swipes. A couple more swift slashes of his sword, causing oil to leak with each cut.
Lies of P is shaping up to be a fast-paced Action-RPG, with its own dark rendition of Pinnochio. The game will be released this year, for Playstation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC, as well as Xbox Game Pass.
Theprevious gameplay trailerhighlighted the game’s story, following Pinnochio’s quest to find Mr Geppetto, his father/creator. It also previewed a couple of other characters which still remain a bit of a mystery. It also spotlighted P’s arm which can use a number of attachment weapons such as flamethrowers and electrical bolts.
