Light of Motiram,an open-world survival RPG heavily inspired by Guerrilla Games’Horizonseries, has been confirmed for release on PC, PS5, and mobile devices (iOS and Android).
Alongside the announcement of these new platforms, the game’s developers—Chinese studio Aurora Studio and publisher Polaris Quest, a subsidiary of Tencent Games—have unveiled the first gameplay footage and an in-depth trailer showcasing this ambitious adventure.
Set on a post-apocalyptic Earth where humanity has vanished and massive mechanical beasts, known asmechanimals, dominate the wild,Light of Motiraminvites players into an open-world RPG filled with exploration, danger, and mystery.
Players will journey across vast and exotic landscapes, including lush rainforests, arid deserts, and snowy peaks, uncovering ancient ruins and unraveling the secrets of Motiram. The debut gameplay video highlights the game’s striking resemblance to PlayStation’sHorizonseries.
Survival is at the core of the gameplay, requiring players to confront primitive cultures, endure harsh climates, and face the relentless threat ofmechanimals. Every decision matters—from gathering resources to battling challenging bosses.
The game’s construction system emphasizes physics-based realism. Players can design structures from scratch, whether a sturdy fortress or a clever shelter. Each structural element adheres to real-world physical laws, adding a strategic and creative dimension to building.
