According to the developer Hexworks and CI Games, its minimum spec requirements are raising the “quality bar” for the studio. Executive producer Saul Gascon in an article with Eurogamer explained that the “minimum specs is a statement” of their “minimum quality bar”.
Basically our minimum specs is also our statement of our minimum quality bar.
They shared that while you could attempt to run the game on a lower-end GPU on PC but they wouldn’t recommend it. The game on minimum spec will run at 720p and 30 FPS which will “play nicely” says the devs. However, if you want to up the graphics experience to 60 FPS you may need to reduce graphic settings. As for consoles, their aim is to have quality mode running at 30 FPS and performance mode at 60 FPS.
