Lords of the Fallen Gets Unreal Tech Feature Trailer
Lords of the Fallen the upcoming Action-RPG gets trailer showcasing the game developed in Unreal Engine 5.
Developer Hexworks and CI Games has released a new trailer that features the impressive graphics and visuals ofLords of the Fallenin Unreal Engine 5. The trailer goes over what went into creating characters which have even taken to real-life 3D scans to make for more realistic visuals. Everything from body shape to faces. This also meansarmorsets will adapt to the customised body players adopt for their character. I think players will be spoilt for choice when it comes to materialising their characters from what’s been shown in the tech demo.
The video goes on to highlight (pun intended) the use of Lumen GI. This impressive tech makes locations look stunning as the camera adjusts to different lighting effects as the light source is moved around. The trailer focuses on the capabilities of Unreal Engine 5 which is making Lords of the Fallen highly detailed.
It also goes on to showcase the dualworlds, Axiom and Umbral. Axiom being the world of the living and Umbral being the world of the dead. Switching between them, we see that Umbral is far more creepy and unnerving. Players might be concerned about exactly how consoles and PC alike will handle this high level of detail. But due to the studio’s use of UE5 and lighting bounces, this will hopefully lighten the load on your GPU.
In case you missed it, the game is a remake of sorts, being a reboot of the original title but set thousands of years after the events of the first. Your role will be to embark upon a quest to overthrow the demon lord Adyr. Players will have vast locations to explore with an interconnected world between the living and the world of the dead.
