Lords of the Fallen Officially Joins PS5 Pro’s Enhanced Games
The visuals in Lords of the Fallen were one of its standout features, making it one of the first soulslike games to take advantage of current-gen consoles.
Now, the game’s graphics are leveling up with the PS5 Pro update, available with the console’s release on November 7.
The PS5 Pro version of Lords of the Fallen boosts pixel density by 40% over what was offered on the PS5, delivering a much sharper image and maximum detail.
The game’s Quality Mode remains at 4K and 30 frames per second, but now the resolution is native, offering an impressive display when exploring both Axiom and the Umbral.
The biggest benefit will be seen in Performance Mode, which runs at 60 frames per second with 4K upscaled from 1440p.
With this improvement, Performance Mode nearly matches the Quality Mode of the original version, featuring greater draw distance, sharper textures, and a higher level of detail in environments and characters.
Alongside this patch, Hexworks has announced upcoming updates and new content for Lords of the Fallen on all available platforms, many based on player suggestions.
Previously, the game received a Boss Rush mode, allowing players to replay boss fights and a mode to face these enemies one by one.
Lords of the Fallen is now an added incentive to pick up the PS5 Pro, whether you missed the game at launch or want to revisit it and enjoy the visual enhancements.
