Lords of the Fallen ‘Season of Revelry’ Adds Festive Content, New Quests & More
Celebrating the festive season Lords of the Fallen gets into the Christmas spirit by adding seasonal decorations, expanded spells, new projectiles and boss weapon abilities.
In the first update titled ‘Offering of Orius‘ players will be greeted with Spell Pack #2, which marks the second post-release bundle of Spells to his the game. These include Brother Knight’s Radiant Shield Throw and the option to shoot icicles from your fingertips, how frosty.
But that’s not all you’ll have to throw around, new projectiles are available. Three new projectiles Blood Vomit, Explosive Mines and Frost Worms will give new ways to strike from afar.
If you were hoping for some new boss weapon abilities from Santa, well Xmas has come early. The Lightreaper’s Dual Blades, the Pieta and Elianne Sword combo plus the stick had secret abilities. However, the devs are working on adding secret abilities for all of theboss weaponsin the game. This includes bouncing flame from the Cleric’s Greatsword and the power to shoot a torrent of burning blades with the Sundered Monarch Greathammer. But these secret abilities won’t come easy, the devs tease completing certain “tasks” in order to unleash these attacks, mysterious.
Lastly, you can get into the festive season by seeing the new festively decoratedVestigesthat have popped up in the game. While the features mentioned above aren’t just for Christmas, the decorations are and will disappear once the holiday season is over, so catch them while you can. The rewards will be permanently in the game. The Holiday decorations will leave after the event.
Expected out this week is a second update for Lords of the Fallen called ‘Trial of the Three Spirits’. This will add three further questlines each with three new armor sets, as well as three new weapons. Each of these represents one of the three factions Radiance, Rhogar and Umbral. More will be revealed as to what players will need to do to gain these rewards.
Welcome to the Mirror of Distortion. If you’ve been wanting to alter your character’s physical appearance, a new feature will be coming in the form of a mysterious mirror. A questline will unlock the mirror’s powers, letting adjust body shape, gender, skin tone, hair colour, facial features and even name.
Players can also look forward to gaining new finishers. Each family of weapons will gain two unique finishers, one for single-handed wielding and one for dual-wielding. Other additions include a Coffer for theSkyrest Bridge, where you can store up to 2000 items and gamepad rebind.
Things will be getting awfully chilly as players will be able to throw Snowballs at enemies or invaders, affecting them with frostbite.

The game has had an amazing launch, hitting1 million in salesin just 10 days of its release. The devs has been doing an excellent job in releasing a host of post-launch content as well as adjustments to further improvement the game.
In case you missed it, Lords of the Fallen arrived on October 13th this year. It’s a reboot of the original game of the same name but set a thousand years after the events of the first. This means you don’t have to have played the first game, as this is a very different setting. The visceral combat pits players against horrific beasts, towering foes and has a unique setting of tworealms. Players will get to discover the world of the living Axiom and fall into the world of dead Umbral.
