Marvel’s Midnight Suns Shows Off Blade Gameplay
Marvel’s Midnight Suns’ latest trailer features Blade, previewing gameplay, powers and cards.
Featured in this latest video is gameplay for the half-human half-vampire hero, Blade. Right off the bat, we’re introduced to Blade’s main ability Bleed.
Slicing and dicing his enemies causes them to take bleed damage every turn. Turning up the pain, Blade has a few abilities that will increase the damage by chaining the moves together.
In order to add further damage this character has a way of drawing further cards to add bleed to the next two turns using “Make ’em Bleed”.
Also previewed is a dialogue scene, with a very stoic Blade and a few conversation choice options. Here the Hunter which is the main character players will take on is having a fireside chat with the sword wielder. It looks like this will be an opportunity to get to know Blade a little better.
But getting to know characters in-game is not only story-related, but they can also unlock further benefits in battle. For example as Blade levels up he gains a 10% bleed increase at level 1 and 25% at level 2. Taking the time for some chitchat is a good idea in this case.
The video also goes on to show more of the Heroics, with Blade busting out the Glaive AOE attack which widely sweeps the enemies around. Of course, such a powerful move is offset by the exhaust mechanic, meaning a limitation on how often it can be used.
Previously we had a trailer that delved intoplayable character The Hunter, a fully customisable hero players will get to create. Previous deep dives also coveredSpidermanwith the use of his quick abilities and spidey sense. As well as theMagik The Master Of Teleportation.
