EA and Bioware have released the next of their gameplay videos forMass Effect: Andromeda, and this one focuses on the game’s exploration. Check it out below.
Exploration in the game will begin with theTempestship as you will access the Galaxy Map and selectlocations, features and other ships to investigate. Wherever you are in space, you’ll be able to see those features from your windows in real time. There are over 100 planets to discover and a handful that you can land on and explore. The worlds you can explore all have different environmental and story considerations. You’ll use theNomadto travel on land and can upgrade it’s capabilities. As you proceed you can set up forward stations that act as fast travel points, loadout swap spots and safe havens for recharging your life support.
Succeeding in various tasks on a planet improves its viability to set up an outpost which lets you make upgrades to theNexushome base. Upgrading the Nexus lets you wake up more colonists who can support you by providing boosts to research, combat or merchants. Exploring Ancientvaultsacross the universe will tie everything you’ve learned together.
