Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 and 2
Mega Man X Legacy Collections will be released July 24th, which will keep you busy while Capcom is works on Mega Man XI which is set to release later this year. The collections are split into two, below are the list of titles under each collection.
Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 will encompass the iconic 16-bit and 32-bits titles including:
There will be a new challenge mode for players to undertake where they are pitted against 2 bosses at the same time.
The Mega Man X Legacy Collection will consist of a vast gallery filled with rare production art, catalogs of classic merchandise, a playlist of nostalgic commercials, and much much more. The collection will also include an animated prequel film The Day of Sigma which will shed some light on several events.
Both collections will feature an optional high-resolution filter or the games can be played in their original resolution. Players additionally have the option to switch to full screen while preserving the aspect ratio, or switch to widescreen mode if they so choose. The 3D models of Mega Man X7 and X8 along with all the other titles will feature improved visuals for modern consoles.
Both Mega Man X collections contain a disc for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One while the Nintendo Switch version will include a cartridge with the first collection and a digital download voucher for the second collection. The retail bundle will cost $39.99 and all Digital releases will be available for pre-order at $19.99.
