Below, you’ll find the minimum and recommended requirements for Metaphor: ReFantazio on PC. The minimum requirements target 720p at 30 FPS, something that’s becoming more common, likely with portable PCs like the Steam Deck in mind.
The recommended settings are for playing at 1080p and 60 FPS, although it’s known that the game has some performance issues that Atlus is working to fix. In fact, after the demo, the first patch has already improved performance on PCs.
Denuvo anti-piracy system is present in the game, as indicated by the information on its official Steam page. Perhaps its implementation is behind some of the performance issues, but fortunately, these are not serious and don’t significantly affect the gameplay of a JRPG like Metaphor: ReFantazio.
