Midnight Suns Axed for Switch; PS4 & Xbox One Set for May 11th
Marvel’s Midnight Suns will no longer be ported to Switch, but Xbox One and PS4 version are to go ahead for a digital launch on May 11th.
2K and Marvel Entertainment have confirmed that the tactical RPG Marvel’s Midnight Suns won’t be heading to Switch. The cancellation of the development for the platform has been confirmed. However, plans for PS4 and Xbox One are still to go ahead with a digital launch set for May 11th. This will include all post-launch DLC as well as the upcoming Blood Storm expansion also releasing the same day.
The final story chapter Blood Storm will be the last of the three post-launch expansions. In this chapter, Storm will be going head to head with Dracula and trying to stop the spread of vampires. She will attempt to rescue a lost mutant child in the city of New York.
In order to recruit Storm players will have needed to have completed the first story mission called Hard Knock Life, but only up to the missions Spidermaaaans and The Best There Is. If you however have the 2nd DLC called Redemption, the mission will first become available after completing The Changing Face of Evil, which is at the beginning of the second act. Blood Storm can be purchased separately or as part of the Season Pass.
Marvel’s Midnight Sunsis currently available on PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), Xbox Series X|S and Playstation 5. It’s joining PS4 and Xbox One on May 11th.
