It was thanks to a question from a company investor, who questioned whyMonster Hunter Wildswill not come to a platform like Nintendo Switch, that Capcom responded that it all had to do with the game needing the latest technology.
One of the concepts we have incorporated into this title is to fully represent the world of Monster Hunter using the latest technology to its fullest. To achieve this, the platforms capable of making that concept a reality are currently PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
Due to this, the last hopes that the community had of seeing a version of Monster Hunter Wilds on Nintendo Switch have vanished, and we will have to wait to see if a future console from the Big N can have the honor.
