I’ve never played a Monster Hunter game but I’ve been thinking about it for a while. I was probably going to get the one on Switch, but this will almost certainly be better I think.
Updating as a loong day gets to a close
I envy you!!!!
The Monster Hunter Wiki doesn’t appear for me, yet.
We are seeing it today on the floor so I’ll have more info, but please go ahead and edit or add any pages in the meantime! Let’s make a great wiki

Oh if we only already had official information. I don’t even think the new monster name has been revealed but I’ll keep following.
…. hype isn’t a powerful enough word for this!
… super hype? mega hype? Super mega hype?
Perfection? The wait for this will be torture…
Already made the wiki, but we are at e3 so I can’t edit much. Feel free to add pages though!

considering how item and resource heavy Monster Hunter games tend to be can we expect a wiki section for it? I think it would make a lot of sense.
I am so very hyped for this game! And cross-region play between Japan and the West has been confirmed. Finally!
I already started a PS4 community if someone wants in.
No invite needed, but if you can’t find it just let me know here and I’ll invite you.
Realy excited about this one. The biggest plus for this game in my opinion is that it is for PC, a big market for this franchise that was completly ignored outside Asia. Finally i can aim my ranged weapons with a mouse.
Nice to see them expand the mounting system from the 3DS games with that contextual grappling hook. Will be coming back for this! Looks like it’ll be lit in multiplayer – Esquire
I have been waiting for this for years. As a fan from the PS2 original and avid player of the PSP versions, I cannot wait for this.
Monster hunter is a series that hasn’t done itself justice by remaining on less powerful consoles. My only hope is it retains the multiplayer ethos as myself and my brother are beyond hyped to go hunting together
it has generally been set missions you go on to hunt a specific target. No story, just the ideals of growing stronger and hunting larger foes. It is a concept based heavily around gameplay and the intrinsic reward of beating these creature a, as well as experimenting with various types of gear and tactics to do so whilst gathering materials to create better weapons.
I’ve never played a Monster Hunter. Is it just a series of missions against large monsters, like Toukiden, or is there a narrative and variety like Nioh? I’m going to need a new multiplayer game after the last Nioh DLC.
I am happy that Japanese-developed games are in the ascendancy at PlayStation again. Now gimme that Demon’s Souls remaster!
While I never could get in to the Monster Hunter series, the sheer level of ambition on display here is making me giddy. I likely won’t buy it, but I’m rooting for them nonetheless.
IM MADE OF HYPEEEEEEEEEEEE ~~~~~~~~~~~
Gear up, guys! We’re going hunting again!
Updated with lots of 4k screenshots + artwork, gameplay features!
