Embark on an adventure with the DongZhou map, a new addition to the game set to officially debut with version 1.0. This map brings the sea into play, allowing you to construct ships, discover islets, and explore volcanoes. It provides multiple modes of transportation, including the Scythe Wagon, which requires taming a horse, and the option to learn gliding.
In this multiplayer survival game, the world is filled with both hazards and resources. The choice of how to engage with the game is entirely yours, with a strong emphasis on freedom. The new map introduces enemies, including a boss, but how you choose to play is really up to you. You might choose to construct fortresses, amass and command armies, and lay siege to and conquer other cities to establish your own empire. Alternatively, you might prefer to tame animals, discover the world, create a community, and take a more pacifist route with others. The choice is yours.
The playtest is a great option for those who want to get to experience Myth of Empires and its systems before the 1.0 launch. While fans of survival and war games might find it easier to adapt, the Angela Game team has assured there’s something for everyone.
The game offers both PVE and PVP servers, guilds options, both official and private servers, hosted options, and more to cater to your preferred playstyle. If you want to take part in the playtest, simply head to the Steam page and click on “request access”.
