New Mass Effect Andromeda Patch 1.09 Adds Platinum Multiplayer Difficulty & New Multiplayer Race Character

Anewpatchis out forMass Effect: Andromedathat addresses some issues in the base game and adds some features inmultiplayer. The main highlights of the patch are multiplayer related and are the addition of Platinum difficulty in multiplayer and the Batarian Scrapper character you can choose for loadouts.

In multiplayer, Platinum players will battle tougher enemies and a mix of heavy hitters from all factions.BioWarehas added Veteran Bonus ranks that increase your available power, combo, and melee damage stats for every character and have adjusted many Ultra Rare weapons so they pack a heavier punch. They have also added new variants for Uncommon, Rare, and Ultra Rare weapons. The Batarian Scrapper brings the Kishock Harpoon Gun along for the ride.

In single player they’ve made some bug fixes and improvements to facial animations and cinematics, which has been and ongoing issue for the game since its launch. Here are the full list of patch notes:

Rumors abound that Mass Effect: Andromeda is not receiving any single-playerDLC, and will instead only receive the weeklyApex Missions, but neitherEAnorBioWarehave confirmed or denied those reports. We’ll have to wait and see.
