In a new video from 2K and Firaxis, we got a look at the new Assassin fromXCOM 2‘s upcomingDLCexpansionWar of the Chosen. The expansion was announced last week during E3, you can check out the new video below:
TheAssassinis one of the chosen who will take on the resistance, making use of a variety of abilities andweaponsthat include stealth and blades, as well as extracting info from fallen soldiers, all in their mission to recapture the Commander. The assassin will be a powerful force to plan against when launching into one of the newmissions.
The War of the Chosen expansion will feature newsoldier classes,enemies,missionswith extra options for strategy gameplay and modifiers as well as a new challenge mode that gives regular one-shot challenges for a chance to land on leaderboards.
War of the Chosen will release on August 29th for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. Keep checking back with us for more info.

Though the info I’m still unclear on is how the dlc will be implemented into the base game (granted, I haven’t looked around very much).Regardless, this is all great news for a great game that I only recently started playing.
