NieR Re[in]carnation Will Shutdown Service on April 30th; Concluding Chapter Releases March 28th
Publisher Square Enix and developer Applibot have announced they will be ending the service for the mobile title NieR Re[in]carnation on April 30th.
The mobile title NieR Re[in]carnation will be coming to the end of its service on April 30th which was announced by publisher Square Enix and developer Applibot. Fans of the game won’t be left hanging for the game’s story as a final chapter will be released on March 28th set to conclude the game’s main story.
While the story completion won’t happen until March 28th at 6PM PST, a new chapter campaign, 3rd-anniversary countdown, 3rd-anniversary campaign and final chapter countdown will be happening over January to March. In a thank you to players, NieR Re[in]carnation will be receiving rewards for story completion including premium summon tickets from login bonuses, 100 free summons per day, Gem gift and Stamina mission every week. So if you’re looking to complete the last chapter and see what could have been, you will gain some bonuses for the last few months.
Along with “The People and the World New Chapter” a new campaign will offer halved stamina cost and drop rate will be increased tens time. Both character and weapon enhancement will be guaranteed. Players will also receive 100 Karma Stones from login bonus and 3 guaranteed premium summon tickets.
In case you missed it, NieR Re[in]carnation follows a girl who awakens in a mysterious and strange world. A creature known as “Mama” is her only guide on her journey to find to reclaim what she has lost and atone for her sins. Heading to a place called the Cage to uncover the truth. Gameplay consists of battles with monsters with turn-based combat. Characters can be customised with equipment with an auto mode feature.
The title launched as a mobile title on Android and iOS based on the NieR series. It received crossover content withNieR Automatacontaining summons for 2B, 9S and A2.
The NieR series still lives on in other ways, an anime spinoff series was announced calledNieR Automata Ver 1.1awhich has received 12 episodes. It focuses on retelling the Automata story, but there are some differences to the game’s version. NieR creator Yoko Taro has also stated that the franchise will continueas long as he’s alive.
