Obsidian Entertainmentis developing an unannounced project in addition to the two known ones,AvowedandThe Outer Worlds 2. Many fans hope it will be a newFalloutafter creatingFallout: New Vegas, but others believe it is a smaller game by the Pentiment team or even sequels to Grounded or Pillars of Eternity.
Unfortunately, it has been 14 years since the release of Fallout New Vegas, and there are no real signs of a sequel or remaster. However, the enormous success of the Fallout series has boosted the popularity of the saga, and perhaps Microsoft has ambitious plans for Obsidian.
Interestingly, according to the professional profile of art director Daniel Cabuco, Obsidian is working on a new unannounced game. Cabuco serves as the art director for the mentioned project, and his work at the studio began in July of this year. It is unlikely to be The Outer Worlds 2, as he indicates it is an unannounced game.
Certainly, fans of the post-apocalyptic saga dream of a return to New Vegas, as seen in aRedditthread and also onTwitter/X.There are rumors that it is the new game by Josh Sawyer, director of Fallout: New Vegas, although it is likely to be a smaller, more personal project. Others, meanwhile, are asking for a third installment of the Pillars of Eternity saga.
For now, it is advisable to keep our feet on the ground. If you want to play Fallout: New Vegas, you can do so on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One through backward compatibility, from Game Pass, or even from the original Xbox 360 physical edition.
