The turn-based RPG, Octopath Traveler 2 now has a demo you can grab on all platforms.

Octopath Traveler 2 now has a demo you can check out on PC, Playstation 4, Playstation 5 and Nintendo Switch. While its predecessor launched solely on the Switch, this time around there are more launch platforms. The game which features eight different characters, lets you play for 3 hours in the demo. This means you can have a go at check-in out one character, then once you hit the time limit start a new run with a different character.

This is a great way to test out the game before it releases later thismonthon February 24th. The title comes with an enhanced 2D-HD look, as well as some new combat features such as Latent Power. This gauge fills whenever a character takes or deals damage in battle. You unleash its ability once the bar is full, which is unique to each character. For example one may be able to gain two moves in one turn, while another may have the option to focus AOE type spells to single target. You can also explore in ways such as by boat.

Much like the first titles, the game will follow eight separate characters on their journey in the all-new world of Solistia. In this sequel however the devs have teased that the character will have more chances to crossover.Charactershave their own backstories, strengths as well as Path Actions. These actions let you interact with the townspeople or even let you hire NPCs.
