Palworld Continues to Soar Selling 6 Million Copies in Just 4 Days
The Pokemon-esque open world survival game Palworld is continuing to reach new heights as it reaches 6 million in copies sold.
Palworld is continuing to do massive numbers now selling 6 million copies within the first 4 days of its early access launch. The game has also gained a new all-time peak of 1.7 million players which is not to be sneezed at. Earlier this week the game hit4 million in just a few short days, which means another 2 million copies have since been sold.
The game is a blend of open-world survival, monster catching, farming sim and straight-up bizarre concepts but somehow neatly works all together. It feels like a mix ofZelda Tears of the Kingdom, meets Pokemon (if they could be turned into food if you chose not to capture them) and Ark. Its colourful Pals and scenic world can be taken on not only solo but also with a bunch of friends which has made collecting those cute creatures all that more fun.
The numbers are staggering, last we compared other major releases such asBaldur’s Gate 3which gained 876k as its highest concurrent number of players on Steam. Of course, Palworlds is available on a few platforms, Steam, Xbox Series and Game Pass. But looking at SteamDB the all-time high has been almost 1.6 million (1,582,482) concurrent players.
Of course, the game in early access doesn’t mean it’s without bugs or problems. The servers have been overloaded at launch and the Pals often like to do some strange things such as disappear into the environment or get stuck, definitely not a feature. But the game has been a hit and continues to grow as Pocketpair hits new milestones with the game.
