A few days ago,Grinding Gear Gamesshowcased some ofPath of Exile 2during theState of Playand confirmed that it will arrive in early access at the end of this year forPS5, Xbox Series, and PC. Now, they have released a new trailer with gameplay footage, where we can see one of itsClasses, theWitch, in action.
The Witch will be one of the 12 character classes available inPath of Exile 2, with two classes for each combination of strength, dexterity, and intelligence. This ARPG will once again be free-to-play and will feature cross-play and cross-progression across the three platforms.
It will be a sequel packed with content, featuring a new campaign with six acts that will take us through over 100 different environments. Players will fight against 600 types of enemies and over 100 bosses, with the aforementioned 12 character classes, which, along with their specific ascendancies (advanced classes), total 36. Additionally, these classes can be customized with hundreds of active and support skill gems.
Another important detail is the beta that was originally scheduled for this month but has had to be delayed, and we still don’t know the new date for its release.
Although there is still much to be shown aboutPath of Exile 2, various updates are gradually being revealed, such as the one shared a few hours ago that showcases the power of theWitch,the powerful sorceress who devastates all enemies with her magic in the new gameplay published.
Fans of the genre are certainly in for a treat with the variety and quality of titles of this style in recent years, fromDiablo 4, whose expansion already has arelease date, to offerings like Lost Ark orLast Epoch, the latter of which was launched earlier this year.
