Pokemon Scarlet & Violet DLC Treasure of Area Zero Features Over 230 More Pokemon
Nintendo announced a new DLC called Treasure of Area Zero for Pokemon Scarlet & Violet set to add 230 more familiar Pokemon.
Nintendo’s latest Direct announced that a DLC expansion will be coming to Pokemon Scarlet & Violet. The title will be gaining “over 230 familiar Pokemon” according to a press release. The title which was releasedlast November, introduced an open-world experience for trainers to catch ’em all. However, the game was initially released with 400 different types which included new starter Pokemon Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxley.
The adventuring this time will take place outside the Paldea region as you take part in a school trip in The Teal Mask and also later to a sister academy Blueberry Academy as an exchange student. Together these two DLCs will add a further 230 Pokemon to the game. Teal adds new Pokemon Okidogi, Munkidori and Fezandipiti.
A new Tera Raid Battle event will be added to the based game with newly-discovered Paradox Pokemon, the Walking Wake in Scarlet, and Iron Leaves in Violet.
Furthermore, other announcements today included the arrival of Pokemon Sleep which lets you essentially slumber alongside your Pokemon and track your sleep which arrives in summer. You can now connect Pokemon Go to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet to gain Vivillon patterns and the Roaming Form Gimmighoul. A premium-looking Pokemon Trading Card Game Classic version was revealed and further updates for Pokemon Unite as well as Pokemon Cafe Remix.
