Playstation Plus has added two new games to their trials Baldur’s Gate 3 and The Lord of the Rings: Gollum.
Good news for PS Premium subscribers as the tier has just gained a couple of new free trials including the CRPG Baldur’s Gate 3. Now PS players can experience theForgotten Realmsfor a whole two hours as part of their sub. Another game added is the stealth adventure game The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, which can be trialled for one hour.
These new games join a long list of current PlayStation Plus Premium free trials includingCrisis Core Final Fantasy 7 Reunionand the martial arts combat game Sifu. Both BG3 and Gollum were released this year but have had quite different receptions. BG3 has had stellarreviews(including our own you cancheck it out here) and has been nominated for a number of awards this year.
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum hasn’t had quite the same glowing remarks. It follows the tortured character Gollum in a stealth/adventure setting. But you can try it for yourself for an hour to see what you make of it. TheLOTR IP still has a few gamescurrently in development so this won’t be the last fellowship you’ll see.
