Developer Gunfire Games recently share thoughts on new features for third person shooter RPG Remnant 2 including crossplay, loadouts, possible transmog and more.
Fans of the souslike shooter Remnant 2, got to ask their burning questions to developer Gunfire Games in a Reddit AMA recently. The game’s director David Adams fielded questions including whether the co-op title will receive crossplay between platforms.
The answer is yes they are looking into having the game work across platforms but don’t expect the feature to come soon. Adams explained that there are “issues with the different platforms”. But ultimately they are actively trying to make it happen.
As there areDLCs planned for Remnant 2 within one year of launch, you might be wondering if new classes orArchetypeswill be added. It was simply answered with a short but sweet “yes” meaning we can expect some new ways to take down enemies in the upcoming expansions.
They have already started work on the first DLC and it’s “looking pretty cool” according to the devs. They have “a lot of plans” for the game, so we could be seeing some interesting new additions with post-launch content. Wecouldbe getting an endless mode or corrupted areas, but unfortunately, Adams won’t confirm exactly what’s in store simply answering “maybe?”
We can count on more puzzlingpuzzlesto puzzle over though and definitely more “secrets” which is great news. Since the main game has already got many enigmas. One thing we can count on is that they will be making it just as fun as the base game.
It’s great when you get some cool armor like theRed Widowset. But sometimes you want to switch up your look as well as your stats. At the moment there is no transmog system in place to keep your current look without disrupting yourbuild. One Redditor asked if a transmog system will come into play. Adam shared it’s “something that comes up”. However, with the long list of things they want to do, it will depend on what takes priority.
If you’re curious about what’s new for the Remnant franchise, the devs are keeping that one close to their chest. Hot off the heels of Remnant 2, there will be plenty of post-launch content with at least 3DLCs planned. These DLCs are included in the Ultimate edition of the game or separately as part of a bundle.
