Returnal Releases on PC on February 15th
The previously PS5 exclusive Returnal heads to PC on February 15th.
The Playstation Blog also shared the PC specs required to run the game and a new trailer. For the minimum requirement to run at 720P @ 60FPS, players will need at least an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 (6 GB) or an AMD Radeon RX 580 (8 GB) GPU. The game is expected to need at least 60GB of space with SSD recommended, plus 16 GB of RAM.
As for recommended specs to run at 1080P @ 60FPS, players will need an NVIDIA RTX 2070 Super (8GB) or an AMD Radeon 6700 XT (12GB). Anyone expecting to run the game at 4K @ 60 FPS will need an NVIDIA RTX 3080 (10GB) pr AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT (16GB), with at 32 GB of RAM.
Enhancing the experience both NVIDIA DLSS and AMD FSR have been added. Those hoping to increase performance but don’t have the compatible hardware to run DLSS/FSR can use NVIDIA NIS. The game also supports ray-tracing for shadows as well as RT reflections. Two widescreen resolution formats are supported, Ultrawide 21:9 and Super Ultrawide 32:9.
