Finish Line Games has unveviled an Action-RPG called Robots at Midnight coming to Xbox Series X|S and PC.
Robots at Midnight is a Cassette FuturistAction-RPGthat features thrilling combat, gigantic beasts, and witty robots in a rich and immersive story. You will explore the planet of Yob, a former paradise resort that has fallen into decay and chaos. You will face many dangers and mysteries while trying to survive in this hostile environment. You will also discover the secrets of your family and the corruption that plagues this world.
The game features include fighting fierce robots in real-time with action combat and discovering a world of secrets. Run the space gauntlet by not only climbing, jumping, dodging and flipping your way through. But using your boosts, punches and kicks to lay some serious damage. There are also a number of unique robots with both friendly and hostile demeanour to meet.
The game is described to be set in a “Cassette Futurist” world which basically means taking an ode to the tech of the 70s and 80s, having a retrofuturistic aesthetic. While the world has excelled in tech advancements producing almost sentient robots, the look still hones in on visions of the past with giant disks and more analog tech. Not quite NASA-punk likeStarfieldbut has that retro charm while still feeling sci-fi-like.
Robots at Midnightwill be coming to Xbox Series and PC via Steam and Windows.
