Bloodborne
Over the past week, the folks over at YouTube channelSanadsk,dug deep intoBloodborne’sfiles using specialized software and uncovered a wealth of never-before-seen content from the game. Some assets include unused enemies and bosses such as a twin headed Smouldering demon, color variants of what looks to be a fully furred Cleric Beats as well as some cut NPCs. Furthermore, a set of new images finally gives us a good look at the previously announcedBloodbornecomic book tie-in that’s dubbed, “The Death of Sleep”. These latest pictures feature a variety of covers and two pages filled with comic panels. Which presents us with gruesome action throughout the streets of Yharnam. The much-anticipatedSouls-like action-RPG,Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemptionfrom indie studio Dark Star, finally gets a release date that’s announced in a new trailer. And for those not in the know, the game has players take the role of Adam, who is a relic from a forgotten kingdom and is branded with a heavy sin. Desperate for redemption, Adam will have to face a series of perilous trials. This full-on Boss Rush mode game will be published by developers: Another Indie and looks to be a promising one. The much-awaited “A Walk in the Park” DLC andThe Surge: Complete Editionare now available for purchase on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Developed by Deck13 Interactive and published by Focus Home Interactive,A Walk in the Parkis the first majoradd-on contentforThe Surgeaction-RPG. It brings players to the wonderland known as theCREO Worldamusement park. There, they’ll be greeted with newenemytypes such as lethal Mascots, deranged A.I. and workers. Atlus revealed that sales for their popular JRPG,Persona 5,has exceeded 2 million copies sold, worldwide. That’s over 2 million hearts stolen! And to mark this achievement, President and CEO of Atlus USA Naoto Hiraoka, stated in a press release:“This has been an incredible year for our company, one that represents our ambitions for Japanese games in the west”.Furthermore, in celebration of this milestone, a well-known character designer of the Persona franchise, drew up and shared an awesome piece of artwork, which you can check out along with the complete press release in theblog.
Fool’s Theory and IMGN.PRO’s 3D isometric-RPG,Seven: The Days Long Gone,is now out and about in the world. The game is more than your standard entry into the genre as it takes heavy inspiration fromThief,a cult-classic stealth game. It introduces its own unique parkour-esquetraversal systemthat lets you climb, run and jump your way around the post-apocalyptic world of Peh. The good folks over at Red Hook Studios continue to pour their hearts on the their beloved turn-based RPG,Darkest Dungeon,with the latest upcoming DLC called, “The Color of Madness”. Not a lot is known about this expansion at the moment except for “Aliens” and the developer has promised that more details will be revealed later this coming year. This add-on marks the third piece of content forDarkest Dungeon,with the last one being “The Shieldbreaker”, which launched in October of this year. Candadian based indie developer Blue Isle Studios, has released their first major add-on called “The Forsaken Crypt” for theirCitadel: Forged With Fireonline sandbox RPG. The latest expansion is now available for download and is quite the massive one as it includes three large Citadels for players to explore, with each one featuring an area-specific Armor set and a host of adversaries to face as well. And for our final piece of news, Valve announced that purchasing games with Bitcoin on their Steam platform will soon come to an end, as the company is planning to cease support for the cryptocurrency due to its “high fees and volatility”, especially in light of recent surges in its value.
