Ryosuke Yoshida, the director ofVisions of Mana, has leftOuka Studios, theNetEasesubsidiary responsible for the game, to joinSquare Enix.
This news comes following reports that, at the end of August—just after the game’s release—Ouka Studios faced layoffs, with speculation suggesting NetEase Games might be considering its closure.
Before joining NetEase Games, Ryosuke Yoshida spent 13 years at Capcom, contributing to various action games, includingMonster Hunter GenerationsandSengoku Basara. One of his most notable achievements was serving as the combat designer forDevil May Cry 5.
