Salt & Sanctuary now working on PS Vita

ManyPlaystation VitaandSalt and Sanctuaryfans will be delighted to hear that there finally is some progress regarding the 2D action RPG game coming to the portable console.

Originally announced as a PS4/PC/Vita game,Salt and Sanctuarypromised to keep players entertained at home and on the go. Unfortunately, due to a third party studio port requirement for Vita development, there have been lengthy delays in delivering to portable.

The developerSka Studiosshared the following

We hope to be able to say soon whenSalt and Sanctuarywill be available on your PlayStation Vita handheld device, though we won’t know just yet. In the meantime, check it out at PSX! Hope to see you there!

While it’s true that Pokemon will be a nice cushion for the Switch to land on, it’s success as a system will rely on a bit more than that.

The Switch has an upcoming Pokemon game for it, of course it’ll pan out. It’s just a monstrously overpowered 3DS that can play Skyrim, really.

The devs should really consider bringing this game to the Nintendo Switch. I’d be willing to repurchase it if the Switch pans out. Games like this and Eitr seem perfect for portable gaming because I don’t feel like I would be losing much going from the big screen to the little. Unfortunately, it’s too little too late for bringing this to the Vita in my case. Among other reasons, I got rid of mine because I got tired of waiting for this game and other similar titles to get released for it.
