Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance Surpasses Half a Million Copies Sold

Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeancehas sold more than half a million copies in its first three days. This information was provided byAtluson its official X/Twitter account, considering that the company moved up its release by a week and has been on the market since June 14. The numbers it has achieved so far are incredible, demonstrating the support of its fans.

In total,Shin Megami Tensei V and Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeancehave sold 1.6 million units, figures that show the strong position of the Japanese developer.

Earlier this year,Persona 3 Reloadbecame Atlus’s fastest-selling game, and on October 11, they will releaseMetaphor: ReFantazio, a new adventure featuring veterans of the Persona series that could become another cornerstone for Atlus.

Expectations forPersona 6are ambitious: Sega estimates around 5 million copies sold in its first year, thanks to a multiplatform and global launch, in addition to the brand’s strength. Persona 5 and its spin-offs have accumulated over 10 million in sales.

Atlus’s announcement makes it clear that this was a highly anticipated game for users, and moving up its release date to avoid coinciding with Shadow of the Erdtree seems to have been a great strategy. We’ll see if these sales continue to grow rapidly.

Selling more than half a million copies in three days is a highly respectable figure. Surely the game’s future is very promising, and we’ll be paying close attention to see what’s coming next. Atlus knows how to reach the hearts of its users, and this game is just another example.
