Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 surpasses two million copies sold within its first 24 hours. The action game was released this Monday on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series and has been hailed as a worthy sequel to the original, considered a cult classic.
A large portion of the sales likely comes from pre-orders, as Tim Willits from Saber Interactive confirmed this summer that the numbers were very good and they had high expectations for its success.
This is just the beginning, as more content is coming in the future: the season pass focuses on cosmetics, and with each new season, there will be free content for all players that will provide more hours of fun.

An action game like the ones they don’t make anymore; simple, direct, and fun without the need to rely on numbers or RPG mechanics everywhere.
While we love RPGs, it’s not necessary to introduce genre formulas in every game or bet on open worlds. The only thing tarnishing the triumph of the space marines in this brutal shooter is some technical issues, which fortunately are being addressed with updates.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2has already received several patches before its release, seen only by those who played Early Access. Finally, the first hotfix has been launched this week, alongside news of the first major update.
This hotfix was just released on PC and consoles, and it addresses the following:

In addition to this first hotfix, Saber Interactive announced yesterday that the first major update is coming soon. While it won’t bring new content per se, it will add highly appreciated features such as:
