S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobylhas enjoyed a strong launch in terms of sales figures, despite releasing with numerous bugs. Developer GSC Game World has committed to addressing the most critical issues in the coming days and rolling out additional fixes over the next few weeks.
This hasn’t stopped the game from surpassing1 million units soldon PC and Xbox Series. This number doesn’t include the many players enjoying the game through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, though those figures remain undisclosed.

The 1 million sales count comes exclusively from purchases on Microsoft Store (for PC and Xbox Series X/S), Steam, GOG, and Epic Games Store. On November 20, GSC Game World expressed gratitude on social media for the concurrent player count on Steam, which reached113,587 users. By Thursday night, this number had grown to117,928 concurrent players. It’s expected that even more Stalkers will venture intoThe Zoneover the weekend.
Twelve years after its initial announcement and four years after its resurrection was revealed at an Xbox Series X gaming event, the Ukrainian studio has finally delivered the highly anticipated survival, horror, and RPG shooter.
