Star Wars Eclipse Loses Its Lead Writer

“Star Wars Eclipse” is now without its lead writer, who has left Quantic Dream to start a new studio. However, it’s possible that this person had already completed their work on another title from the studio.

Adam Williams has decided to leave this game and the studio with which he developed “Detroit: Become Human” to establish his own studio. Could he have finished his work at the developer before leaving?

“After almost 10 years at Quantic Dream, I’m leaving to start a new studio alongside a group of talented designers and developers,” said the writer, without specifying if they were from Quantic Dream.

“We can’t say much more at the moment. We’re working on something very innovative, very special, and for now, very secret. More details will come soon.

I’ve already reached out to many of you at Quantic Dream and Lucasfilm to thank you for everything related to Detroit and Eclipse. It’s been a great adventure,” he added.

To conclude his message, and thus his farewell to the studio he has been with for nearly a decade, Williams finished his note with the following words:

“A huge thank you to the team for taking this leap with us, and to the investors for being the ideal partners in the next adventure. More on this will come soon, too.”

While we already knew the game was inspired by “The Last of Us,” an insider mentioned that its release was still far off but progressing “better than some believe.”

Now that the lead writer of “Star Wars Eclipse” has left Quantic Dream, the game’s announcement at The Game Awards holds even more significance since nothing has been heard about it since.
