The Star Wars KOTORremake is still alive, although its development is going to take a while. Saber Interactive talks about one of the most anticipated games for quite a few years.

After rumors circulated that the game had been canceled, many were waiting for its creators to speak out. Now, Saber Interactive has done so, and all the galactic fans breathe a sigh of relief once again.

Saber Interactive, creators of Jurassic Park Survival and KOTOR Remake, have spoken with IGN after leaving Embracer Group to become a private company. The CEO of the company wanted to reassure the most anxious and attentive players about this remake.

After many rumors, the official confirmation that this remake is alive has relieved many. Matthew Karch has assured thatSaber Interactivehas takenKOTORwith them in their separation from Embracer and that they continue to work on the project.“It’s clear and obvious that we are working on this,” he pointed out. “It has appeared in the press numerous times. What I will say is that the game is alive and kicking, and we are dedicated to ensuring that we exceed consumer expectations.”

However, before the breakup, Embracer’s CEO, Lars Wingefors, hinted that the new version of KOTOR may still be very far away, in a galaxy far, far away. Although that doesn’t matter if we are assured that the project is still moving forward.
