Star Wars Outlaws was one of the most anticipated games for fans of the famous franchise created by George Lucas. However, the early access for those who pre-ordered the more expensive editions of the game hasn’t gone as well as expected. It seems that the title had an issue with saved games, and Ubisoft recommended that players restart their entire progress to avoid losing their game later on. Now, they are compensating the players.
More than just recommending a restart, the new game update was incompatible with saved games, making the restart of the adventure for these users mandatory.
This is why the company is granting rewards to those players, although they haven’t convinced everyone. To give you an idea, after making you lose hours of gameplay, they give you an in-game ornament and 100 Ubisoft Connect coins.
While this may seem a bit lacking at first glance, the 100 Ubisoft Connect coins are equivalent to a 20% discount on other games and are valid for two years.
Therefore, some users might decide to use them on a new release or to further reduce the price of an older one. However, despite the discount, some people believe that the rewards don’t match the issues caused by the update.
