Starfield Receives Patch 1.10.31 with Over 500 More Improvements
Bethesda has released a new massive patch forStarfieldthat comes to fix around 500 different issues.
Beginning with the most significant changes, the new update for Starfield adds very interesting improvements for the photo mode and scanner usage: when taking snapshots, we can modify the posture and expression of our character or companion, and now we have the option to make certain movements, such as opening doors, while using the mentioned scanner.
Another very interesting addition is that now simply setting course for a mission will make it become “active mission” in our HUD. And speaking of ships, now you can adjust the FOV when navigating space in third person. Finally, the game now performs a quick save every time we travel to the surface of a planet.
The rest, almost half a thousand improvements, are distributed among graphical, artistic, gameplay, text and localization fixes, interface, and other more specific ones focused on outposts, ships, and missions. While most are for both platforms, some specific ones only apply to a particular one.
Bethesda must continue on this path if they want Starfield to reach the standards of the game they had planned before the launch. During its launch, the company was always tremendously ambitious, as they not only wanted to create an RPG capable of generating interest among their fans, but also one that could emulate the success of great RPGs like Skyrim, which they are light years away from achieving.
The next update will arrive in approximately six weeks, and we will see if they can reach the goal they set at the beginning of this space mission.
