Starfield: Shattered Spaceis the first DLC in the series goes on sale September 30, and Bethesda has already revealed the time it will be available and the requirements to play it.
In this expansion, we will uncover countless mysteries surrounding House Va’ruun and explore a new planet, Va’ruun’kai, where this new story takes place entirely.
Bethesda has just revealed the release time for this DLC in each region. This content is not included in Game Pass, although subscribers to the service have access to a special discount.
Those who have purchased the Premium Edition or the Constellation Edition ofStarfieldwill receiveShattered Spaceas part of their edition. On the other hand, those who only have the standard edition can upgrade to the Premium Edition to accessShattered Space, in addition to enjoying other digital items, such as the artbook, the original soundtrack, 1,000 creation credits, and the Constellation skin pack.
To start playing theShattered Space expansion, you must have completed the game’s introductory mission,One Small Step. After completing this first mission, the first time you make a gravity jump to an orbit not involved in a mission or encounter, you will receive a distress call and discover a large space station,The Oracle.
According to Bethesda, “any player can take on the challenge inShattered Space, but reaching level 35 is recommended for the best experience.”
Shattered Spacetakes place on the homeworld of House Va’ruun and will offer a more focused experience on a single planet, unlike the base game, which explores multiple star systems.
This allows for more detailed and in-depth exploration of the environments and culture of House Va’ruun, including access to new areas such as cities, space stations, and mysterious facilities.
Additionally, players will have to battle new enemy factions, creatures, and bosses, gaining access to new weapons, armor, and exclusive equipment.
Bethesda also reminds us that now is the best time to enjoyStarfield, thanks to all the new features and updates introduced over the past year.
These include the REV-8 ground vehicle for exploring environments, 60 FPS mode on consoles, improved maps to guide us through the game, and new options that allow players to customize how they play, including access to ship storage from anywhere in your player inventory, the ability to increase vendor credits, and increased carrying capacity, among other changes.
