Starfield: Shattered Space, the first story expansion, is coming to Xbox Series and PC. Bethesda’s RPG, centered around the Va’ruun house, takes place entirely on a new and exotic planet, where we will uncover countless mysteries and explore a remote, unexplored location.
With less than two weeks to go before its release,Bethesdahas published a new video, nearly 10 minutes long, explaining all the features of this expansion, which takes place entirely onVa’ruun’kai, a planet devastated by a catastrophic event.
Shattered Spaceunfolds entirely on the homeworld of House Va’ruun, where players will explore a vast landscape while unraveling the big questions surrounding the followers of the Great Serpent. House Va’ruun is on the verge of collapse, and its people need a guiding force to move forward.
For some, your unexpected arrival on their secluded planet is seen as divine intervention, and the rebuilding and future of this enigmatic faction will be in your hands.
This expansion offers a more focused experience on a single planet, in contrast to the base game, which explores multiple star systems.
This allows for a more detailed and in-depth exploration of the environments and culture of House Va’ruun, including access to new areas such as cities, space stations, and mysterious facilities. Additionally, you will face new enemy factions, creatures, and bosses, gaining access to new weapons, armor, and exclusive equipment.
Shattered Spacewill be released on September 30th for Xbox Series X|S and PC, priced at $29.99. Those who purchase the Premium Edition or Constellation Edition of Starfield will receive Shattered Space as part of the edition.
However, players with the basic edition can upgrade to the Premium Edition to access Shattered Space, as well as enjoy other digital items, such as the artbook, the original soundtrack, 1000 creation credits, and the Constellation design pack.
