Sundered Releases July 28th, Jotun Free This Weekend

Developer Thunder Lotus Games has announced that their upcoming Metroidvania RPGSunderedis coming July 28th for the PS4 and PC. To celebrate, they are giving away free copies of Jotun on PC, their first action adventure game. Check out the launch trailer:

Sunderedis a horrifying fight for survival and sanity, a hand­-drawn epic from the ​creators of ​​Jotun. You play Eshe, a wanderer in a ruined world, trapped in ever­changing caverns teeming with eldritch horrors. Harness the power of corrupted relics to defeat gigantic bosses, at the cost of your humanity. Resist or embrace.

We recently did a featurepreview on Sunderedand found it to have a ton of potential, with polished gameplay and deep mechanics. It could emerge as a leader of the pack in the resurgent Metroidvania genre.

You can head over to Steam and GOG this weekend to snag your free copy of Jotun, Thunder Lotus’ first game. Jotun is a hand-drawn action-exploration game set in Norse mythology.In Jotun, you play Thora, a Viking warrior who died an inglorious death and must prove herself to the Gods to enter Valhalla.
