The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind PC Early Access Begins Today, New Update Released
Early Access forThe Elder Scrolls Online:Morrowindbegins today for PC players of the popular MMO from Zenimax Online and Bethesda. Early Access is automatically available for players who purchase the Digital Upgrade or Digital Collector’s Edition Upgrade versions of ESO: Morrowind for PC/Mac any time prior to the expansion’s June 6th launch.
If you are an existing ESO player who has pre-ordered or pre-purchased the physical ESO: Morrowind Collector’s Edition for PC/Mac, you will be able to join Early Access by doing the following:
If you do not apply the code included with your physical PC/Mac ESO: Morrowind Collector’s Edition within two days of launch, you will get an email alerting you that you will lose access to ESO: Morrowind content within 24 hours.
The new Morrowind content includesVvardenfell, the largest landmass addition to the game to date as well as the first new class since the game launched, theWarden. This class is an adaptable, support-orientated option for players who want to be able to fill a specific role while simultaneously providing assistance to others. Also in the expansion areBattlegrounds, a new PvP mode that is focused on small scale, quick battles of teams of 3 or 4 players. Furthermore, you can explore a new 12 playerTrial, calledHalls of Fabricationthat has a Norman and Veteran version. Rounding out the new content are freshitem sets,Motifs,homesandfurnishings, collectibles, titles, and dyes. It should be noted that this expansion is being woven into the base game, so you can start a brand new character with a brand new story tutorial set in the new content. Perfect really for vets and newcomers alike.
In conjunction with today’s early access release comes a new patch on PC that brings all you need for compatibility with Morrowind as well as a new base game patch. The base game patch brings many new updates as well including updates to theChampion System, the Master Writ Merchant, Cyrodiil Rewards, a new Inverse Kinematic System, and bug fixes and general improvements to the overall game. As a result of all of this newness, if you’ve been playing the new content on the public test server in closed beta, you’ll no longer be able to access it anymore. So it’s time to pre-order if you want to keep going! PS4 and Xbox One versions are not eligible for early access but the content is right around the corner, due June 6th on those platforms.
