Publisher Focus Home Interactive and developer Deck13 will be giving us a tour of theCREOWorld amusement park. The setting for the “A Walk in the Park” DLC, that’s coming toThe Surgeaction-RPG.
Our hardcore action RPG The Surge is set to be enriched even further with the release of a major new expansion: A Walk in the Park, coming early December on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
Today we’ll unveil more details about theDLC’sbrand new environment:CREO World!
The Surge has already dragged players deep into the high-tech CREO industrial complex, overrun bydeadly machines, rogue AI and derangedexoskeleton workers. Now, in its first major expansion,A Walk in the Parkgives you a breath of fresh air by taking them to anenvironmentthat’s more open and colorful, though no less deadly.
CREO World is an amusement parkbuilt by CREO for its employees and their families. Forget your cravings for cotton candy though – CREO World was not spared from the disaster.The entire park is a deadly trap, where roaming rescue teams have gone insane and robotic mascots patrol freely, patiently waiting for new visitors to offer a deadly welcome.
CREO World presents a wealth of fresh challenges.Originally built to celebrate CREO and its mission, the park is a radically different setting from the rest of the complex, full of branching paths and secrets to discover.
Your visit through the park will lead you through several attractions, like the rollercoaster FireStarter or the Lumber Jack show where employees from CREO showcase how powerful they are equipped with the latest exoskeleton technologies.
Survive the raging mascots and explore the park’s attractions, before taking on a fearsomebossin the devastated park. Through technical and spectacular fights, you will face this new threat, cutting and equipping 16 all-newweapons, sets ofarmor, andimplantstoupgradeand further customize the way you want to play.
New players will also be able to embark on the ultimateThe Surgeexperience with theComplete Edition, which includes the full game and all the DLCs of the title, includingA Walk in the Park.
The Surgeis now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. While the “A Walk in the Park” DLC andThe Surge: Complete Editionwill both launch sometime thisearly December.
