Focus Home Interactive and Deck 13 have announced that a freeThe Surgedemo is coming next week for PS4, Xbox One and PC. The studio’s follow up to Lords of the Fallen takes their Bloodborne meets Metroidvania formula to a dystopic future. Marred by climate change and insane coworkers, it’s the proverbial worst first day on the job.
With the summer lull upon us, it’s a good time to dig into the game for the first time. We’ve enjoyed playing the game and covered its positives in our comprehensive review that found it had advanced the formula further, with impressive visuals, fast, fluid combat and rewardinggearprogression andcrafting. They continue to support it post launch withregular updates and patcheswhich is always a great show of faith. The demo will also feature PS4 Pro support so you can see the game in its full visual glory.
